There are oodles of muscaria sightings. It may very well be introduced (likely with pine plantations) but it’s there nonetheless.
Interesting! I’ve always read that A. muscaria is a Northern hemisphere fungus only. I guess that’s probably just its natural habitat, and it is now adapting wherever it’s brought. Thanks for the link!
