gut rot

“This is an amanita as most of you probably know. I can’t look at one of these without terrible highschool memories. Growing up in Alaska these puppies are easy to find in the summer. Of course me and my dumb friends heard that they are shall we say…altering. But there was some catch. Other than that they are definitely poisonous there was some trick to “extracting” it’s magic. I think we thought we had to scrape off the tops or something. i can’t remember. All I know is that about ten of us dragged this garbage bag full of knarled up amanita’s around our campsite for a couple of days. The effect was only a case of gut rot. What a bunch of nerds.”
